About the Provider

Dr. Glory Nwankwo, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Nwankwo is a doctoral prepared and licensed dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatry-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post Masters Certification in Psychiatric Mental Healthcare from Brandman University, Irvine California, and Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, Minnesota. Dr. Nwankwo provides her clients with empathetic, evidence-based, patient-centered care with the goal of restoring health and balance. She assesses, diagnoses, and treats mental health disorders using pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic interventions.

Dr. Nwankwo believes a person’s ability to heal and be at their optimum best begins with a trusting relationship with their healthcare provider. She strives to empower her clients with knowledge about their illnesses like depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc. so that they feel in control of their symptoms and confident as they move forward in their journey.

Dr. Nwankwo’s approach to care is of a holistic, collaborative, empowering, practical, and evidence-based nature in order to improve the lives of those whom she serves. Her goal, above all, is to empower her clients to take charge of their own well-being.
